A5 Printer Test Page
Run a free A5 printer test page to confirm your printer feeds, scales, and aligns A5 paper correctly — print it directly from your browser.
A5 Test Print
A5 is exactly half an A4 sheet — common for flyers, notebook inserts, small booklets, and postcards — and it comes with a completely different failure mode than the large formats above. Most printer trays and paper guides are built and calibrated around full-size sheets, so small stock like A5 is the size most likely to skew, misfeed, or double-feed if the tray guides aren't adjusted tightly.
Before you print: enable Background graphics in the print dialog's "More settings," and set the paper size to A5 so the physical sheet matches what this test is checking.

What This Reveals About Your Printer
Because A5 is a small target moving through hardware designed for bigger paper, this test is as much about the physical feed as the printed output. Watch how the sheet travels through the printer: any skewing, dragging, or hesitation is a tray-guide problem, not a print-quality one. On the output itself, pay close attention to centering — a margin error that would be invisible on a full Letter or A4 sheet is immediately obvious on A5's smaller area, since the same absolute offset takes up a much bigger share of the page.
A5 Test Page FAQ
Why does my printer keep skewing or misfeeding A5 paper?
Small paper sizes need the tray's width guides adjusted snugly against the stack — most trays default to a wider setting built for Letter or A4, which lets a much smaller A5 stack shift and feed in crooked. Slide both guides in until they just touch the edges of the A5 stack before printing.
My A5 test page looks off-center. Is that a print setting or a hardware problem?
Check the physical paper position in the tray first — an off-center stack against loose guides is the most common cause and shows up as an even margin offset on one side. If the paper is loaded straight and centered and the output is still off, then it's worth checking your driver's paper-size and centering settings.
Can I print two A5 pages on one A4 sheet instead?
That's a different feature (N-up or booklet printing) from what this test checks — this page tests printing directly onto physical A5-sized stock, which is what you want if you're using pre-cut A5 paper rather than printing an A4 sheet to cut down afterward.
