Printer Print Test PDF
You don't need to download a file from us — every printer print test on this site can be saved as a PDF in a few clicks, straight from your browser's own print dialog.
How to Save a Printer Print Test as a PDF
Every browser has a built-in "Save as PDF" option inside the normal print dialog — there's no need to install a PDF printer or converter.
Open a test page
Go to the color or black & white test page and pick Letter or A4 sizing.
Open the print dialog
Press Ctrl+P on Windows/Linux or Cmd+P on Mac. Turn on "Background graphics" so the color and gray bars are included.
Choose "Save as PDF"
In the destination/printer dropdown, select Save as PDF (Chrome, Edge, Firefox) or PDF → Save as PDF (Safari on Mac).
Save the file
Choose a location and save. You now have a reusable PDF you can print later without needing an internet connection.
Browser-Specific Notes
Chrome & Edge
Print dialog → Destination → "Save as PDF." Click "More settings" and enable "Background graphics."
Firefox
Print dialog → Printer → "Save to PDF." Background graphics are included automatically.
Safari (Mac)
Print dialog → PDF dropdown (bottom-left) → "Save as PDF." Enable "Print backgrounds" in Safari → Settings → General first.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why don't you just offer a PDF download link?
The pages on this site are built to print correctly at any paper size directly from your browser, which avoids the blurry, off-center results you sometimes get from a fixed, pre-made PDF. Saving as PDF yourself takes the same two clicks and gives you a file sized exactly the way you want it.
Will the saved PDF include the colors?
Yes, as long as "Background graphics" (or "Print backgrounds" in Safari) is turned on before you save — otherwise browsers strip background colors by default to save ink.
Can I save the black and white test page as a PDF too?
Yes — the same steps work on the black & white test page.
